Vue & React

Both frameworks, Vue and React, have their own advantages. I prefer React due to its more readable syntax, especially with the use of JSX, which allows seamlessly blending HTML with JavaScript. React offers great flexibility in building interfaces and has a large community, providing access to numerous libraries and tools. Vue, on the other hand, is known for its ease of learning and convenience of use. It also offers powerful tools for state management and component handling, and its flexibility makes it easy to integrate into existing projects. Vue might be more intuitive for beginners due to its structured approach to development.

How I balance work and mentorship

Balancing work and mentorship requires effective time management and adapting to the current workload. I usually dedicate 1 to 4 hours per week to this, focusing on code reviews and providing strategic recommendations to colleagues. I believe these investments support the professional growth of newcomers and improve the overall level of the team.

Projects for portfolio

Ideal projects for a portfolio are those that have the real potential to be launched. Consider creating a project that you or your loved ones will actually use. For example, a project for friends or family is a great option because it not only demonstrates your technical skills but also proves that you can solve real problems. This approach adds value to your portfolio, making it more attractive to potential employers or clients.

Can I propose my project for development, and what will it cost?

If it's a project that students will work on, you can add your idea in the community section. The development of such a project will be free, as it is a great opportunity for students to gain practical experience. Gather a team, work on the project, and launch it together with a mentor! If your team needs more attention or an individual approach, this can be discussed separately. The cost in such a case will depend on the amount of time and effort required to support the team and the project.

How long does the learning (project development) take?

The duration of project development depends on several factors: team composition, the experience of the developers, the time students are willing to dedicate to work, and the complexity of the project itself. It can take from a few months to several years, depending on these conditions.

What is the cost of mentorship?

I spend up to 4 hours per week mentoring all the projects I work on. If you need more attention to a specific project or individual mentoring, this issue needs to be discussed separately. It is important to understand your goals, the current state of the project, and evaluate how much time will be needed to achieve the desired results. You can also assign your own mentor to the project, and in the future, I will add the possibility of financial motivation for new mentors.
